Meet The Artist

My name is Alicia Rendon also known as Eagle Healing Art and I am a 25 year old artist based in Colorado Springs, Colorado and I’ve been tattooing since 2021. I’ve always been interested in art, but when the pandemic hit I had extra time to think about what I wanted to do for a career and somehow I was introduced to the idea. I was decorating cakes at the time for a grocery store, and when I had to stop working because of the Pandemic I focused my time thinking and dreaming about becoming a tattoo artist.

I took steps towards becoming the artist I’ve just suddenly dreamed of. I began drawing flash designs, creating a portfolio, and eventually talked myself into an apprenticeship. Unfortunately with my apprenticeship a majority of my learning became self led and although I had a mentor at the time, what I was learning was from practicing and figuring it out on my own.

It was the best decision I could have made. It was a dream I didn’t even knew I had. Tattooing slowly became my identity and ever since I’ve been learning each and every tattoo.

I have a passion for creating and sharing art with others and I hope to bring joy and happiness through my art into spaces and onto bodies for as long as I can. Its incredible being able to share my art with others, and its an incredible feeling to be able to provide joy through my art.

Outside of the studio I enjoy going out and exploring new places, traveling, going on hikes, trying new foods, supporting local shops and artists and taking photos. Something that not a lot of people know about me is that I play the Handpan which is a musical instrument.

I think anyone should be able to enjoy art regardless of who they are or where they come from. There are a million forms of art, it just takes a heart to see it and a soul to enjoy it.
