What is Eagle Healing Art?

Eagle Healing Art was created with an initiative to heal. Through art, through actions, and through words. Eagle Healing Art was meant to act in a way to do good.

Have you ever heard of a healing tattoo? Tattoos made with the intention to heal provide you with an experience that will forever change you. Healing tattoos are made with the intention of bringing new energies and a way to serves as a mechanism for healing and growth. A healing tattoo may not be for everyone. It involves letting go. There’s no one way to get a healing tattoo because everyone is going to have their own method. Anyone can do healing tattoos and anyone can get one.

Trusting your artist can be hard. Say you walk into a tattoo shop and ask for a design. The design is meant to cover an existing tattoo and the one you have reminds you of your ex. Of course that tattoo is going to provide some kind of healing for you. Out with the old, in with something new, it’s something beautiful.

From my experience there’s s deeper level to healing tattoos as well. These are ones that were passed down through generations, say Polynesian tattoos for example. This type of tattooing is meant to symbolize your lineage and include aspects of that persons identity, social status, accomplishments and spiritual power. To these lineages people believe their tattoo is a spiritual shield, maybe it is. And while your fine line flower family bouquet might be nice, a Polynesian tattoo, done correctly, is going to connect you to your family and spirit in a different way.

There is a sacred art to tattooing. Not everyone is taught that. Before there were machines, they were hand poked using thorns on a stick, hit with another piece of wood to tap in black pigment made from charcoal or other natural materials. They would tap in these designs to symbolize specific things. Tattooing then went through an evolution into it’s modern day now. While others stick to tradition. The traditional art of tattooing is not gone, at least not yet.

What is it like to tattoo a healing tattoo? For me tattoos are sacred. It’s changing someone’s body forever a there should be a lot of thought that can go into it and I’m creating it with the intention of you having the best outcome for your situation. For good things to be transformed, for old things to be dissolved. These tattoos take my attention in a different way. Different from any other tattoo where my mind can wonder other places. Here with this tattoo I choose to do good. I choose for my thoughts to be full of purpose and meaningful for the best outcome. You and the client transport. After the session you are *different.

Have you ever heard of healing tattoos before? Would you ever get one?
